{"id":231,"date":"2009-09-06T16:23:27","date_gmt":"2009-09-06T23:23:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mathpirate.net\/log\/?p=231"},"modified":"2009-09-06T16:26:24","modified_gmt":"2009-09-06T23:26:24","slug":"ktktktktktktktktktktktktktktktkt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mathpirate.net\/log\/2009\/09\/06\/ktktktktktktktktktktktktktktktkt\/","title":{"rendered":"ktktktktktktktktktktktktktktktkt"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here is the panel where I&#8217;ve been spending most of my time lately.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mathpirate.net\/log\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/MotorSettings.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-232\" title=\"Motor Settings\" src=\"https:\/\/mathpirate.net\/log\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/MotorSettings-300x63.jpg\" alt=\"Motor Settings\" width=\"300\" height=\"63\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mathpirate.net\/log\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/MotorSettings-300x63.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mathpirate.net\/log\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/MotorSettings.jpg 619w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When I first did it, the power was way too high, so I made it lower.\u00c2\u00a0 The power is still way too high, so I made it lower.\u00c2\u00a0 Then it was too low to move.\u00c2\u00a0 That&#8217;s when I discovered what the &#8220;Motor Power&#8221; control does.\u00c2\u00a0 It&#8217;s like traction control in your car, it will adjust power to make the motor move at the same speed, even if there&#8217;s resistance.\u00c2\u00a0 That got things moving.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, the only movement that happened was the paddle moving off the bottom of the screen and getting lost.\u00c2\u00a0 When a paddle gets lost, weird things begin to happen.\u00c2\u00a0 The logic ends up royally confused, sometimes thinking that the ball is the paddle.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0At any rate, it continues to tell the paddle to move down, so it ends up continually telling the robot to rotate left.\u00c2\u00a0 Eventually, the paddle hits the left endpoint of its range, and BLAM!\u00c2\u00a0 The spinner assembly kicks a gear and the whole thing keeps on spinning.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<div id=\"silverlightControlHost\">\n\t<object data=\"data:application\/x-silverlight-2,\" type=\"application\/x-silverlight-2\" width=\"320\" height=\"240\"><param name=\"source\" value=\"\/ext\/VideoPlayerM.xap\"\/><param name=\"background\" value=\"white\" \/><param name=\"initParams\" value=\"m=https:\/\/mathpirate.net\/log\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/ktktktktktktktktktktktktktktktktktkt.wmv\" \/><param name=\"minruntimeversion\" value=\"2.0.31005.0\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/go.microsoft.com\/fwlink\/?LinkId=124807\" style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><br \/>\n \t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/go.microsoft.com\/fwlink\/?LinkId=108181\" alt=\"Get Microsoft Silverlight\" style=\"border-style: none\"\/><br \/>\n\t\t<\/a><\/object>\n<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mathpirate.net\/log\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/ktktktktktktktktktktktktktktktktktkt.wmv\">ktktktktktktktktktktktktktktktktktkt<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here is the panel where I&#8217;ve been spending most of my time lately.
