{"id":148,"date":"2009-09-05T14:45:44","date_gmt":"2009-09-05T21:45:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mathpirate.net\/log\/?p=148"},"modified":"2009-09-05T14:45:44","modified_gmt":"2009-09-05T21:45:44","slug":"technical-difficulties","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mathpirate.net\/log\/2009\/09\/05\/technical-difficulties\/","title":{"rendered":"Technical Difficulties"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Right about now, I should be making a post about how awesome it was to play Pong using this program, and uploading a video of it in action in a real game.\u00c2\u00a0 Unfortunately, technology does not seem to want to let me do that.<\/p>\n<p>I have an ATI TV Tuner in my PC that I used for capturing the sample videos that I&#8217;ve been programming against.\u00c2\u00a0 I had thought that I&#8217;d be able to use that tuner for when I wanted to play it live for the first time.\u00c2\u00a0 Apparently not.\u00c2\u00a0 OpenCV tells me that the card is in use, even though nothing should be using it.\u00c2\u00a0 I get an error, then I get the input source selection dialog.\u00c2\u00a0 Then my program crashes.<\/p>\n<p>Fun.<\/p>\n<p>So much for that milestone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Right about now, I should be making a post about how awesome it was to play Pong using this program, and uploading a video of it in action in a real game.\u00c2\u00a0 Unfortunately, technology does not seem to want to let me do that.
